On 22nd October, ESDO hosted an open forum in collaboration with the Faculty of Fine Arts to gather young artistic minds and discuss the toxic presence of lead in their beloved medium of expression, paint.

Young artists collectively expressed a dire need to purify paint from toxins hiding in plain sight and called for immediate action to phase it out.

The discussion was enriched by the encouraging presence of Syed Marghub Murshed, Former Secretary of the Government of Bangladesh and Chairperson of ESDO; Prof. Dr. Abul Hashem, Technical Advisor, ESDO; Siddika Sultana, Executive Director, ESDO; Dr. Enayet Hossain, Associate Professor; and Dr. Azharul Islam, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts.
